About the Recipe

Sauteed Mushrooms can be eaten as a side dish or added to sauces, gravies, or soups.


  • 1 package Mushrooms (Shiitake, Oyster, or Lion's Mane)

  • 1/4 cup Oil or Butter

  • 1 tsp (or more to taste) Umami Seasoning


Step 1

Slice the mushrooms

Step 2

Heat the oil or butter

Step 3

Add the mushrooms to the oil or butter and sautee for 5 to 10 minutes. Sautee longer if you like crispy mushrooms. Be careful not to burn the mushrooms.

Step 4

Serve hot or add to your favorite recipe.
